Eden Scott's client, a large professional services organisation, is looking for someone with a background in and technical experience of data mining and assurance/auditing techniques (CAAT's) to join their Data Assurance team as they realise the need for a thorough understanding of business data and its role in supporting business operations.

You will be a highly motivated individual with demonstrable experience of:
* Background and technical experience of data mining and assurance/auditing techniques (CAAT's);
* Good working knowledge of SQL and Access;
* Working knowledge of ACL, VBA and Excel - not essential;
* Some knowledge of finance or accounting - not essential.
* Report writing.

This role will involve:
* Agreeing, designing and delivering complex Computer Assisted Audit Technique's (CAAT's) in support of financial and internal audit engagements;
* Designing complex data models to support financial transactions and audit assignments. Feeding findings/implications back to audit teams and clients;
* Delivering data quality and data migration related assignments/projects;
* Performing spreadsheet assurance assignments to confirm that complex spreadsheets are working as expected;
* Helping to build the Data Assurance department
* Leading teams of junior/less experienced practitioners
