Apex Engineering Soultions are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E / HVAC / BMS Engineer to work for one of the UKs largest consultancies.

The Person

The right person will be an experienced, qualified (although no need to be chartered) M&E Engineer, with more maintenance experience than design. You will have a wealth of HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS) experience and be able to visit clients around the Leeds area to assess their Building Management Systems. With this in mind, ideally you will reside in Leeds with your own transport and a full UK licence and be familiar with the area.

The Role

Your main role will be to visit high profile clients aorund the Leeds area to assess their Building Management Systems. This will involve compiling reports on the findings and giving good advice to the client on the energy saving implications my clients remote technology can provide when attached to their current BMS system.

You will also be required to;

Support the Remote Technology Manager in the marketing, sales and conversion of the remote technology product.

Provide technical support for supplier partners on site visits when required.

BMS Intergration, providing guidance for the Remote Technology Manager on high profile accounts with a concentrated BMS network. Evaluation of BMS provision / expansion of services / production of improvement recommendations.

Provide guidance around set point and alarming parameters for new/existing clients prior to implementation.

E2E and technical project management during remote technology installation rollouts.

Follow relevent legislation, provide recommendations and lead technical remote technology developments (e.g. latest L8 requirements/opportunities).

Provide on-going technical support to corporate clients,

Work collectively with the Remote Technology Manager to intergrate the new technology into my clients wider business.

The Contract

Whats on offer is an horly rate between £17 and £22 per hour, which will be agreed with my client before the contract is accepted. The contract will run until at least the end of March 2010, with the possibility on an extension or other opportunities.
