Anyone Want To Join a Wind Quintet or Choir in Leeds

Hi

A small group of us are trying to start up a wind quintet and a (mixed) choir in Leeds.

We're young professionals who graduated last year and have struggled to find decent music groups in Leeds with any room for new players/singers, so we've decided to start up our own groups!

We want the groups to be fun, relaxed and sociable (pub trips after rehearsals a must!) and there will be no auditions. Ideally grade 5 and above (or equivalent) though as we'd like to maintain a reasonable standard! We have experience of running groups at uni and one of us is a music teacher so we reckon we're up to the challenge.

We'd like to play/sing a wide range of music, including jazz, classical, sacred, musicals, filmscores... anything!

We need wind instruments of any sort, but are especially looking for an oboeist and a basoonist. We also need singers - male and female, all ranges. And any accompanists (pianists) or conductors would be great as well!
