31 yr old PhD researcher seeks room

I'm working in Headingley and looking to share with sociable and considerable housemates. I like most outdoor sports (running, climbing, mountain biking and kayaking), have travelled extensively and don't watch too much TV apart from the odd movie, wildlife or travel docco (and I have to confess that I like the house move programmes!). I have quite a hefty workload at uni so need somewhere quiet enough to work occasionally but I also like to spend time interacting with others and chatting so would prefer to be in a house where people don't just keep to themselves.

Ideally I'd like to live somewhere fairly quiet, in North/West Leeds area but would consider places in the country such as Rodley and Apperley Bridge. I need a large room as I have a desk to fit in (150cm long x 80cm deep). I also need secure storage for my bike which has to be a locked garage or cellar or somewhere secure inside really (I can't just lock it to a fence!)
