Reservations Sales for Hotel in Leeds City Centre, 17k to 18k per annum

This is a fantastic position for an experienced Reservations / Sales Executive to join this national hotel chain at our 3 star property in Leeds.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience in a reservations / sales coordinator role within a 3 or 4 star hotel. Knowledge of the West Yorkshire hotel market is desirable and you should be a strong team player and enjoying either working alone or as part of a team. You should be confident, extremely well organised and creative, enjoying delivering new ways of increasing business and negotiating confidently.

This role would suit a strong Sales Executive looking for a new challenge and provides lots of scope for further progression.

The role is very varied dealing with lots of different target markets. Experience of corporate sales is essential. You should have comprehensive computer knowledge and good skills in database management. You should be financially aware and have an understanding of P&L reports.

Reporting to the General Manager you will be expected to work on the lapsed client base as well as developing new business. You will be a key player at management meetings.

Organisation and the ability to prioritise your workload are key as you could be working on several key accounts and initiatives at the same time. The role is predominantly sales focused however there is a marketing emphasis and awareness of this area is needed.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday day shifts, however you will be expected to organise fam trips and be present for all important events which may fall on an evening or weekend.

You will be rewarded for your hard work with a great basic salary. The role is expected to be offered around 17k-18k but may be negotiated higher.
