Title: Engineering Technician

THE COMPANY
My client supplies innovative solutions for managing pipelines all over the world.
Due to workload they have a vacancy for an engineering technician to do site work and testing in Leeds, Bradford and the surrounding area. The successful candidate will be working primarily on the introduction of new technology in the water industry.

THE ROLE
• Reports to Water Business Manager but will be supervised on a daily basis by Engineers.
• Assist with Flow Loop Testing & Pressure Vessel Testing as required.
• Will work closely with Client personnel in the delivery of project work.
• Will help to maintain and run workshop facility including tools and equipment.
• Carry out ordering of parts & materials.
• Assist in the in house development and manufacture of materials for leak sealing products.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• You must be a qualified technician or engineer with experience of site work.
• Experience of working with pumps and pressure systems would be an advantage.
• Pipe fitting experience would be an advantage.
• Experience of working in the Water Industry is ideal.
• A clean driving licence is essential.
