We are looking for learning mentors to work in Primary & Secondary schools to provide support to students on a one to one or group basis who face barriers to learning. These barriers might range from a lack of study skills or personal organisation, to complex social and welfare issues. The role entails devising an attendance agreements, providing support with study skills, revision and examination techniques, liaising with families and developing anti-bullying strategies.

The successful candidate will have a genuine concern for the welfare of young people, have excellent communication skills and have a good knowledge of education. We are looking for candidates who have a degree and some school experience that can be backed by a reference.
Candidates who have learning mentor experience are highly desirable.
