Our client is a 64 Bedroom – 4* Hotel who seek a suitably qualified Operations Manager to join their award winning team

Situated on the outskirts of Leeds and close to Castleford the Hotel has built upon an enviable busy restaurant trade using all fresh produce.

Although the property does not carry Rosettes they would certainly meet a 1+ standard.

The hotel boasts a low staff turnover achieved by looking after their staff and offering excellent working conditions and sensible working hours with mixed straight and split shifts.

Conference & Function trade is low in this property with turnover coming from the rooms and restaurant trade. The restaurant is 80 covers (all fresh produce) and very busy with week and weekend business – Sunday lunches regularly being 120+ covers.

Are you a "Hands On" Manager who loves to lead from the front offering superb service with a "Mine Host" approach. A true Restauranteur who can help promote and develop the business as a direct support to the General Manager - someone with the skills and abilities to deputise for the GM and Manage the property as required.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong F&B background at quality levels - possibly an existing Operations Manager - F&B Manager - or tried and tested Restaurant Manager with the skills required to meet and exceed guest and staff requirements.

Role Description :
Daily Management within all areas, but with particular emphasis on F&B / Restaurant Management ~ supporting the General Manager

Hands on / mein host approach - Meeting & exceeding guest expectations at all opportunities

Staff training & Development

Assisting with Staff Rotas & Wage Controls

Ordering – Stock Controls

Maintain, review and install efficient working systems / procedures and keep departmental records “up to date”

Health, Safety & Hygiene – COSHH – HACCP Risk Assessments

Supporting all HOD's

Direct Support Of Sales & Marketing activity
