Looking for friends in leeds

Hi,
I am a black female, 39 yrs old (younger of mind) and i've lived in Leeds all of my life. I have been quite shy most of my life and therefore have not amassed the number of friends the 'average' person may have by my age. I am hoping to rectify that now and inject some actual life into my currently non-existent social life.

I love going to the movies and watching dvd's (mainly comedies & some drama - looking forward to seeing 'Inglorious Basterds'), i enjoy listening to music and have extremely varied tastes, i'm open to just about anything, musically. I enjoy meals out/in, also going to the theatre, ballet and comedy clubs, all of which i don't currently manage to do as much as i would like. I would also be interested in meeting up for lunch / coffee / drinks etc. I would also like to take up some more out-doorsy activities like cycling, walking......

I am extremely laid back (so much so, i'm almost horizontal) and very friendly. I am looking for friendship, not a relationship and would love to hear from any like-minded men or women out there.
