My client, a very successful Investment and Wealth Management Specialist is looking for a Payment Processing Supervisor for a 6 month fixed term contract. The role has come about through an internal move and there could potentially be a more permanent role, although this is not guaranteed.

 

The post holder will be required to oversee C&ES, CHAPS, BACS , FX and Cheque payment processes, Banks Exception Item Management on a day to day basis. There will also be a key focus on projects, challenging costs across all levels together with a continuous focus on mitigating Risk and Control and conducting regular 1-2-1 reviews within the team to ensure the delivery of "right first time".

 

The role of the Payment Services Supervisor is responsible for delivering a quality and efficient Payments team. This will include leading, motivating and developing the team to ensure an accurate and timely service. The successful candidate will show the following

·         Experience of identifying and implementing process improvements

·         Experience of ensuring high levels of Customer Service are delivered by all team members.

·         A practical understanding of the Anti Money Laundering Regulations

·         A practical understanding of the regulatory environment and the standards required for client protection

·         Proven track record of process control resulting in the reduction of errors

·         Experience of leading a team - using motivational tools and performance management

 

This role is based in Leeds and my client is looking to pay £22k-£24k yearly salary plus benefits.
