we need someone that can help out in a shop on a voluntary basis (free - unpaid) in return for a refference & experience!

we have a shop on Armley Town Street and require someone that can lift the shutters and open the shop during weekdays - i.e. Monday - Friday

Basically lifting the heavy shutters & opening the shop - allows passing trade to see stock

I am flexible about timing and dont expect the person to do anything in particular inside the shop - the stock is advertised on the net and various media - but the nature of the product is that people want to touch and feel the material!

most sales would be internet based and courier delivered - however, ideally the person will be able to sell some of the products to pasing tarde / hig street shoppers - in that case a percentage of shop sales will be given to person!

the person is welcome to study/read/knit/sing in the shop - i aint really too concerned what u do whilst u at the shop - as long as the person is polite and welcoming to customers - ideally presnetable and computer literate! I

There is a radio and i could provide computer with internet so u can keep entertained during the day!

I would pay reasonable travel expenses and lunch money - tea & coffee provided!

Ideally, i want sumone that wants to learn about selling on the net. This basically involves:

taking great pics
writing good and accurate description
advertising to a target client group
make money!

Besides this i could teach u the art of online sales and the world of ecommerce! So in time you could manage your own sales portfolio from anywhere and anytime!
