Assistant Accountant

Due to continued growth my client, an international market leading brand are now looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a contract basis for their site in Leeds. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated accounts team where duties will include:
Bank reconciliations, Month end accruals & prepayments, Inter company accounting & recharging, Fixed asset accounting, VAT returns, Balance sheet reconciliations, Sales analysis & various other financial reports.

Candidates will ideally have experience within a similar role, be able to work to tight deadlines & be used to working (or can adapt to working) in a fast paced environment. Candidates will need to be team players & confidently be able to communicate with internal & external contacts.
The ideal candidate will posses strong Excel skills and be qualified or part qualified CIMA, ACCA or QBE or equivalent.
