The Red Kite, Nr Wakefield
The Red Kite is one of Vintage Inns “Big Guns” with weekly sales in excess of 30k per week. It is located just off J39 of the M1 near Wakefield on the Calder Valley Business Park. The Pub has 200+ dining covers and 100 external covers and trades well throughout the year. This is also one of Vintage Inns “Houses of Excellence” which consistently delivers brand leading levels of sales, controls and quality. The ideal applicant will be a current Assistant or Deputy Manager with a background of delivering branded offers and some experience of high volume operations. They will need to be a strong team player who likes to lead from the front and who is good at delivering big volume with great standards. This is great opportunity for someone who is looking to drive their career by working with a great team in great Pub.
Who are you?
As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, as well as getting involved in strategic activities such as setting targets and driving local marketing campaigns. You will enjoy the buzz of running shifts and love spending time setting and reviewing goals for your team members and supervisors.
Our Assistant Managers need to:
• Be passionate about Guest service and standards
• Have experience in management, ideally in a branded, hospitality environment
• Be enthusiastic about food and hands-on in the kitchen
• Be willing to learn our IT systems and be heavily involved in business controls
• Enjoy the buzz of running shifts
• Enjoy spending time setting and reviewing goals for your team members and supervisors
• Be ambitious, wanting to further your career in management in the future
