Trainee Secretary
Working for a medium tier law firm in the city centre, where they are looking to recruit a trainee secretary. Duties will consist of audio type short documents and file correspondence ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, amend large documents and to ensure that they are formatted into current house-style systems, carry out photocopying in accordance with instructions from either a secretary or a fee-earner,be familiar with the Unit’s central filing system (paper and email systems) ensuring that documents and files can be easily retrieved from local and archive storage systems by any member of the team., deal with incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a professional and efficient manner, work as part of the secretarial team to support the Leeds’ Human Capital Pensions Unit fee-earners as required. Suitable candidates must have previous secretarial experience, excellent keyboard skills (minimum 55-wpm audio) are essential. RSA Stage II standard, gcse's in Maths and English, experience with Microsoft Word software (Excel, Powerpoint), good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team is essential, have a tidy and efficient approach to the role and with attention to detail.
