Due to internal re organisation we are looking for an ambitious and reliable payroll clerk. This position requires the processsing of engineer timesheets, production of weekly wages (Sage payroll) and all associated activities including year end procedures and on line filing of returns and overseeing the compliance with current employment law, Health & Safety matters. Knowledge of the new CIS system required. In addition to the weekly payroll there will be the opportunity to expand into more general accounts such as job costing (Sage jobcosting) and production of Sales invoices (Sage Line50). This position would ideally suit someone who is used to lone working, as you will be working on your own a great deal of the time.
