EXCITING BANKING OPPORTUNITY for MOTIVATED SALES PERSON

Are you a people person with the ability to deal with members of the public face to face? Do you have the motivation and drive to succeed within a targeted environment? Do you have experience of making recommendations to customers about financial products?
If you've answered "YES" to all three of these questions then we have great opportunities for you within a stable, progressive role within a high street branch environment.
One of the leading UK's local Building Societies are searching for their next rising star to work within their branch based team in Selby. You will provide a face-to-face banking service to the Society's customers, building rapport with them and generating referrals to the Branch Manager and the other Financial Consultants within your team.
You must:

* Have previous experience of sales lead generation
* Experience of working in a sales through service environment is desirable
* Have good administration & PC skills
* Have fantastic communication skills both written and verbal
* Have the ability to work with limited supervision
* Have excellent attention to detail

Your main duties will include:
· Being the first point of contact for customers in the branch in order to deal with and action either a range of general banking/account enquiries/concerns and/or specific service/product enquiries
· Identify where the Society can help the customer
· Pursue potential sales leads
· Contact customers to discuss opportunities to help them and arrange appointments
· Updating customer files
· Liaise with and/or refer calls to other internal departments/external parties where necessary
· Where appropriate - balance cash at end of the day
· Support the branch with cashiering and administrative duties and contribute towards a culture of excellence by giving the best possible service experience to customers

Competitive salary dependant upon experience:

£12,000 - £15,000 + Branch Bonus's
