Operations Manager 22,000 Hotel Wakefield
This international chain of hotels is currently looking for an Operations Manager for its site in Wakefield. The property is 3 star with 100 plus bedrooms and banqueting facilities for up to 160. This is a role that could be suitable for a first time Operations Manager who has branded experience.
Job Description
As Operations Manager you will be reporting directly to the GM. This role is suitable for candidates needing some development to take their first step up into an Operations Manager role. You will oversee both the rooms and food and beverage functions within the hotel and maximise profitability through revenue generation and productivity whilst maintaining brand standards. Key duties will be:-
* Developing revenue strategies and sales initiatives
* Controlling costs
* Implementing brand standards
* Forecasting
* Training
* Health and Safety
* Recruitment
* Appraisals and job chats
* Duty Management
Required Experience
* Candidates from a Food and Beverage Background are preferable but may be considered with a front office background providing you have had some experience within this area.
* Branded experience is required
* You must have exceptional skills in training and developing staff
* You must be able to display a proactive attitude
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong communication skills
* Eye for detail
* You must be career driven
* Personal Licence holder
Salary and Benefits
The starting salary for this role is £20,000- £22,000. Bonuses of 20% of salary can be achieved and company benefits include pension, Healthcare and group discounts.
