I am a 25 year old, confident, hard-working and highly motivated individual who is seeking a new PA role. I left my last PA role in September of this year in order to try my hand as a full time Sales Development Manager. I am not enjoying my new role however and I am keen to go back to the PA work that I love.
For the last two and a half years, my position was within a small company with an ambitious growth strategy. We sold and supplied non-invasive medical equipment nationally and my role was to support the MD as well as assisting with the sales, marketing and accounts through undertaking administrative tasks, diary management, event organisation and taking responsibility for all national and international travel arrangements.
My primary responsibilities and daily duties included:
•Office management and administrative support to MD, Sales Manager and Finance Manager with the ability to be highly organized and prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
•Printing, making travel and accommodation arrangement, scheduling appointments, screening, redirecting and prioritising incoming messages, emails & telephone calls
•Preparation and execution of direct mail campaigns
•Establishment and maintenance of customer contacts database
•Telephone sales, lead generation and appointment making to existing and potential customers in order to assist Sales Manager
•Accompanying MD on client/ supplier visits, new product trials, seminars and workshops
•Assistance and support at national and international trade fairs and other promotional initiatives
•Liaison with our external marketing services suppliers and PR providers to produce quality literature and exhibition materials
•Day-to-day non-IT website maintenance,
•Liaison with UK and overseas agents/ distributors
•Liaison with senior directors, shareholders and potential investors in order to distribute documentation, arrange meetings and communicate information
I assisted and provided cover for a variety of functions, including accounts and administration support through being present at board meetings, distributing board papers and writing the minutes, general bookkeeping, sales order processing, invoicing, credit control and stock control using Sage. I was involved in production control through the purchasing of component materials and liaison with suppliers, the ordering of finished products and maintaining effective communication with the manufacturing facility.
