Key skills required:

- Excellent PHP programming experience
- Excellent knowledge of MySQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience with Apache and Linux
- Being able to implement good coding standards and practices
- Planning, designing and implementing ideas from scratch
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and ensure code is fully tested

Other advantageous skills (will be beneficial):

- Use of XML to interface with other systems
- Experience in high availability, scalable programming

In addition to the above skills, candidates should be able to express themselves well and explain their coding decisions logically, backed up with technical reasoning. Candidates should work well within a team and be able to adapt quickly to changes in a fast-moving environment.
