Dear family,

I'm a 23 year old student with two years of babysitting experience and two years of au-pair experience. I was working as an au-pair in Oslo, Norway for two years and took care of 3 wonderful kids aged 5, 9 and 12. My main responsibility was to make sure that the kids were well prepared for school/nursery, that they did their homework regularly and to sort out any problems they had with it, then to make sure that they got home from school safely and to make them lunch. I was organising their after school activities (going to the swimming pool, to the library, playing outside or visiting their friends) by myself and i made the dinner for the whole family. Light house work was included too.
Sometimes i had to look after the children over night, and that included some other types of activities such as making dinner, making sure that they were prepared for bed and reading their bed time stories. Of course, this all sounds very strict when written down but the kids and I soon became very good friends and had lots of fun!
While I was working as an au-pair I was also working as a nursery school assistant in the Balder Barnahage, Oslo . There I was mainly looking after the toddler group, which gave me lots of experience with babies. As a part of the nursery school team i had first aid training and the opportunity to learn how to work as a part of a team.
I'm happy to say that every person that I ever worked for was very happy with me and my work, so I count myself as a very reliable and experienced babysitter who you wont have any problems with.
I regret to say that I'm not a driver ( hope thats not too big problem - i'm happy to make my own way about by bus).

My working hours are flexible and my rates are £5 - 10 per hour depending on what type of job am i required to do ( e.g. am i required to do house work together with looking after the kids ets.)
