Job: Credit Controller - Sales Ledger Clerk - Leeds
Credit Controller - Sales Ledger Clerk required to work for a large UK Distribution company based in Leeds. This is a varied job which needs someone who has debt chasing experience but all full sales ledger experience. Good benefits, free parking and long term career opportunities are offered.
This is an outstanding job opportunity for someone looking to work in a small and friendly working environment, where they will get to interact with clients and colleagues alike on a daily basis.
Job duties include:
- Credit Control - chasing commercial debt via telephone and letter
- Sales invoicing - manually and electronically
- Sales ledger maintenance
- Sales ledger query resolution
- Cash allocation
- Cashbooks
- Bank reconciliation
- Banking
- Aged dent reporting
- Cash flow reporting
- Other ad-hoc finance duties
Skills required for the job:
- MUST have Credit Control AND Sales Ledger experience
- Must have bank reconciliation experience
- Must have good understanding of accounts
- Must be a team player
- Must have good IT skills
- Must be a positive and professional communicator
- AAT - ideally studying towards this qualification however this is not essential
