The Company:

An independent multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, made up of engineers, architects and consultants. Nearly 3000 staff in offices all over the world, working across 9 divisions within the company, each offering it's own set of services.

The Role:

Due to an ongoing expansion programme within the rivers and coastal division, duties and responsibilities of this role will include: feasibility studies, cost benefit analysis, detailed design and/or modelling, contract preparation and management for flood and coastal defence schemes, supervision of graduate engineers, Project management of small to medium sized river and coastal projects, delivering on time and within budget, to keep up to date with advancing technologies in river and coastal engineering. assist with the preparation of pre-qualifications, proposals, bid documents and marketing literature.

Qualifications, Experience & Opportunities:

Chartered, or very nearly chartered status (MICE/CIWEM etc) BSc/BEng Civil/Water Engineering, MSc Water Resources/Coastal Engineering or a related discipline would be an advantage. You will have 4-6 years experience in a similar role, working on flood management and design and/or modelling, designing and supervising on rivers and coastal projects. You will be able to work independently, with management skills, able to train and mentor more junior staff.
