Tailor Made Travel Consultant required for Tour Operator based in West Yorkshire Have you travelled to South East Asia? And have a strong interest in the Travel industry? I am looking for a candidate with experience in South East Asia but also a passion to work in the travel industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role of Tailor Made Travel Consultant is to work as a Sales Consultant for an Internet based Specialist Tour Operator based near Pontefract dealing with Egypt, Nepal and Thailand Holidays.

Duties for this Tailor Made Travel Consultant:

* Answering some telephone and email enquires from prospective customers.
* Creating and pricing tailor made itineraries, including liaising with local suppliers.
* Replying and handling requests from travel agents
* Handling customer correspondence, invoices and booking administration
* Searching for and booking flights for clients using the computer booking system
* Handling customer feedback

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Ideally the right candidate will have a good professional telephone manner, Ability to talk and write about foreign holiday destinations and itineraries and have the ability to organise your work , and work to deadlines and targets.

Ideally you will have travelled aboard to at least one Non - Western country and experience of working for a tour operator or travel agency will be an advantage.
