The Role:

My Client is seeking for energetic and innovative staff that are able to demonstrate a history of good experience of the identification, planning, bidding, design and delivery of contaminated land desk studies, site investigations, risk assessment methodologies and remediation projects. A good understanding of current UK environmental regulation, including CLEA is required. A range of land quality experience, including gasworks, contaminated land, defence, petrochemical, railway and work with utilities and/or water companies is expected. Detailed knowledge of either clients or sectors of the Land Quality market is also expected, as are strong relationships within these clients.
The successful candidate will join existing teams, and be expected to manage project teams and be responsible for the delivery of the final product to the client. You will also be responsible for the reporting of the data collected within the client's reporting framework, including technical review of report prior to issue to the client.
The position is primarily in support of UK clients but support to international projects is required from time to time.

The Person:

To be successful in this role you will have strong experience, and are likely to have a Masters Degree (or equivalent) in a suitable discipline. We are looking for an excellent understanding of UK contaminated land legislation and processes, not only under the current regime, but also with an eye on the future changes and developments and the impact on the environment industry.
Excellent computer, written and presentation skills are expected. You will also need to demonstrate a track record in preparation of high quality oral and written communications. A UK driving license is essential.
