The Daoist (Taoist) Arts of Weihai Lishi Quanfa
The graceful movements are based on breathing techniques and the use of qi energy. This means the movements are soft and fluid but also very powerful, and can have great health benefits. Fast but also slow, light but also heavy, these arts are physically expressive and can be applied in many areas of life

Weihai Lishi Quanfa is a Daojiao Daoyin Shu (Daoist whole body breathing system). Its roots, history, training principles and methods are steeped in Daoist tradition. This unique system is acknowledged by Wu Shu masters as very ancient. Weihai Lishi Quanfa came to the west from Weihai in Shangdong province in north-east China. It was brought to the UK in the 1930s by Chan Kam Lee, who then passed the Lishi arts on to Chee Soo.

International Daoist Society
The IDS is the governing body of Weihai Lishi Quanfa. The current president and senior coach is Desmond Murray. He is also the overseas president of the Weihai Wu Shu Association of Shangdong province, China, and was the senior student of Chee Soo for many years.
