From the back of the bus to the playground you will find boys and girls reciting lyrics made up or learnt. With new genres hitting the streets all the time, more and more young people are wanting to learn skills to bust out hot lyrics to beats. With hip hop currently being the biggest genre in the world, it’s not surprising that schools and youth clubs are using this workshop to relate and engage with young people. The SSA Mcing and Rapping workshop is a great way for young people to be productive with their minds and words.

Possible themes include: Racism, bullying, peer-pressure, drug awareness, beliefs, practices and ways of life.
