Hello everyone, I live in a quiet cul de sac which has 3 (private looking) red brick built blocks set in large communal gardens next to a church and graveyard in Eltham the postcode is SE9. There are 9 floors to each block and I live in one of the penthouse flats with amazing views and light. Each block is served by 2 lifts and has a door entry phone system. The gardens have lots of trees and from the back, the city skyline can be seen and from my windows you can see lots more trees, Eltham Palace, Oxleas Woods, even though we are only 2 minutes from the High Street.

There are two private lockable car parks that are free and there is an option to rent a garage for £10 pw. The rent is £72.32 and this includes water and the council tax is approximately £740.oo pa for a single dweller. The flat is painted in neutral colours and has a brand new kitchen and gas central heating. It is sunny and bright and gets the sun in the morning. It has a 18 foot long lounge (you could put kitchen in lounge and get a 2 bed) and 15ft long bedroom, large hallway with 2 storage cupboards and bathroom. My flat is very very clean and just needs a lick of fresh paint and the pipes in the bathroom need boxing in. There are french doors in the lounge with a 'juliet' balcony and double glazing throughout. Each flat is on a corner of the block and not attached on either side only from the flat below. It has a council rtb.

Outside the front door is another balcony where you put your rubbish in special containers and these are collected each week, there are also recycling bins by the car park and these are emptied weekly. On the ground floor there are lockable sheds for tenants.

The neighbours are neighbourly will stop for a chat if that is what you want and generally quiet, there are a lot of older folk here and it is a safe area. Transport links are excellent, there are buses to everywhere including Sidcup, Greenwich, Bromley and Lewisham where you can pick up the DLR. Overhead rail is 5 minutes away where you can get to London Bridge in 20 minutes. It is a lovely borough to live in, Greenwich, as there is soo much to do. Greenwich has the Royal observatory and a fantastic park, the river Thames, markets etc and this is then backed onto by Blackheath common. Greenwich is reputed to be the greenest borough of London. There are plenty of parks, some are left to nature with herons visiting (5 min jog down the road), so it is very good for an urbanised area.

Eltham High Street (2 mins walk) has a Next, Debenhams, M&S, McDs, Sainsburys, Iceland, Boots and others. There is a brand new swimming pool and fitness centre opened on the back of the newly modernised library in the high street. In the future there is to be a new area with restaurants and underground parking 5 minutes from my door and the lovely old coronet cinema is to be developed too. Eltham is coming alive

I need a one or two bed property, any type considered but not a studio in Harrogate or surrounding areas. High rise, houses, blocks or conversions considered as all can be desirable. I look forward to hearing from you very soon :>

I am a serious swapper and need to move this summer to start new job in September.
