As a Retail Manager you will take an operational overview. Everything you do will be geared towards maximising customer loyalty, developing your team and maximising sales As a role model you will set high standards, motivate and coach the team. Managing stock control, budgets and visual merchandising so that your store has the resources to perform effectively. You've got to be energetic, open and firmly committed to continuous improvement.
Team leadership experience is desirable along with a proven track record in setting and achieving targets and with strong people and budget management skill. Coming from an Information Technology background you'll recognise that this is a growing, successful organisation. Main Purpose of role:
Commercial management of one of our regional service centre outlets which offer a comprehensive computer repair and support service to our customers.
Reports to: Market Development Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Duties will include but are not restricted to:
* Manage day to day retail outlet procedures, logistics and best practise
* Champion and deliver excellent customer service
* Customer care including support of on-site repairs and administration of off-site repairs
* Participate in marketing, sales and promotions activities both on campus and off while working closely with our corporate team and campus partners.
* Achieving Sales Targets incorporating the selling of SmartFixIT products and services and promotion of the SmartFixIT brand
* Provide support to the customer, resolving problems
* Identify the computer problem, advise the customer of the remedy and provide an estimate of the costs involved.
* Complete virus scans, operating system reinstalls, RAM upgrades and various service related activities.
* Source parts for repairs as requested by the Computer Technician
* Ensure all paperwork is issued in accordance with SmartFixIT procedures
* Balance till on a daily basis and stock on a weekly basis.
Skills and experience
* Able to manage people, work in a team and be an effective role model
* Have a good technical understanding of IT services and systems
* Effective organiser with ability to multitask and prioritise
* Have creative business acumen and effective sales flair
* Ability to work under pressure and show initiative
