Herbert Brown is now one of the largest pawnbroking and retail jewellery chains in the UK. We have a number of fixed term vacancies for Sales Promotions Representatives in various locations starting mid October 2009 until January 2010. Full and part time hours available and for the right candidates these may lead to permanent roles.

Basic salary of £6.04 per hour, and you can increase this to £9 per hour as commission is available on every sale (up to 50% on top of your salary, payable monthly).

Locations where these vacancies exist are:

Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Leeds, West Yorkshire
Manchester (various locations)
Newcastle (various locations)

Working as a “Sales Promotions Representative” we require you to work from various kiosks/stalls/units and talk to passers by and promote that we are buying old gold (jewellery etc). This will be face to face in a shopping centre working various shifts between the hours of 8am and 10pm. Are you good at building rapport with people easily and are you a confident, enthusiastic sales driven individual? Are you a self motivator and happy to work unsupervised? If so, then we really want to hear from you as we want you to raise awareness of our “cash in a jiffy” service, exceed sales targets and promote our company name.
