Deu Dental Care is seeking applications from experienced Therapist . The ideal candidate MUST be Qualified and GDC Registered .
Working hours will be alternate Saturdays 9am- 12noon, with a view to expand days depending on performance.

Deu Dental Care are a member of the British Dental Association Good Practice Scheme and work with the Leeds University (Yorkshire Deanery) as a VDP training practice.

Clinical skills
The successful dental therapist will be required to carry out the following procedures: Scaling and polishing, applying materials to teeth such as fluoride and fissure sealants, taking dental radiographs, local infiltration anaesthesia techniques, administration of inferior dental nerve block anaesthesia (provided dentist on premises), taking impressions, providing dental health education on a one-to-one basis or in a group situation, restorations in both deciduous and permanent teeth from class I-V cavity preparations, in both adults and children. They will be required to perform emergency, temporary placement of crowns and fillings, removing excess cement, extract deciduous teeth under local infiltration analgesia, pulp therapy treatment of deciduous teeth, placement of pre formed crowns on deciduous teeth, treat patients under conscious sedation provided the dentist remains in the surgery throughout the procedure and deliver microabrasion techniques.
The post is for an initial period of 1 month.
