Receptionist
My leeds based client is seeking a receptionist grow with their well-established company
Your role
Ensuring reception area and meeting rooms are kept tidy.
Greeting visitors, offer refreshments etc.
Taking post / deliveries.
Answering the office telephone and announce calls first before transferring as appropriate.
When leaving desk transfer telephone to deputy, informing them first. In lieu of deputy cover put system onto night service mode (all phones ring).
Taking messages and passing them on to engineers when they are on site.
Maintaining Office diary
Update diary with holidays, appointments and meeting.
Book and arrange meetings.
Provide support for meetings, lunch, refreshments etc.
Take minutes of meetings as and when required.
Arrange entertainment or events as and when required.
Booking rail / air tickets and hotel rooms when required.
Contacting clients to book meetings / pass messages
Assist with marketing in the form of organising Christmas cards and calendars.
Assist engineers with general duties when secretary is absent.
The ideal candidate:
Previous reception experience
Flexible and diligent
Friendly and approachable
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in a clear and concise manor
Team player
GCSE’s in both English and Maths at Grade C or above or equivalent
