An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join an established team on the outskirts of Wakefield.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Management Accountant and assist with monthly management accounts preparation, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, overseeing some aspects of purchase ledger and sales ledger as well as any other ad-hoc duties within the department.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a similar assistant accountant role and ideally be part qualified and studying ACCA/CIMA/AAT or be qualified by experience.
