Doug Moore 1981 57foot(w/l) trad. Alice No1 with countryside mooring but would be happy to move boat anywhere on the waterways.
A really nice classic trad narrow boat built as a livaboard very comfy boat will sleep four but use as a liverboard for two people. Needs alittle tidying but Ready to move on. everything you need to have a normal life onboard. She’s like a little cottage.
Power
Bmc1.8 pushrod diesel will run forever and Hurth box
Gas/engine central heating. Gas fridge. Four burner hob and gas oven. Hot water via engine and heating boiler.
Shower room.
Shower. flush pump out loo with large tank. And sink. Cupboard and closet.
Boatman cabin
pull down full size double bed which folds away during the day and gives you another room. spares locker underfloor storage
Galley. Four burner hob. Gas oven. Gas fridge. Lots of cupboards.
Lounge. Foton sofa with new mattress in a cover. Flat screen tv. Digibox. Car stereo cd player with usb slot and mem card slot. The tv sound comes from the stereo sounds really good. Leather recliner. Wood parke flooring with rug.
Alice has 240 volts from a inverter. And a small genny. 12 volt from four 110 aph batts
The only thing you need 240 volts for is the toaster everything else is 12 volt.
The mooring ( linier mooring not a berth £20 per meter) is on the Leeds Liverpool at barrowford locks right on the edge of the Yorkshire dales but only 2 miles from the motorway network at the end of the m65 at colne this mooring is by way of a separate agreement with the farmer who owns the land. All so as own parking for one car but space for another could be sorted out. a
