AMT Coffee is an established coffee retailing business with 56 national gourmet coffee bars, turning over £16m and employing over 400 dedicated people. We were the first national coffee company to provide 100% fair-trade coffee and we are well recognised for quality, value and service. We are currently looking to recruit a dedicated and passionate Bar Manager for our St Albans coffee bar. This is a super opportunity for the right person with excellent prospects!

The essence of this role is to manage the day to day running of the bar, focusing on increasing the sales and the quality of our customer service. Working closely with your Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of great Barista’s ®. You will need some experience of managing staff rota’s, ordering stock and keep tracking of general administration related to the running of the bar.

You’ll need to be a professional ‘hands-on’ person, well organised, passionate, and a great motivator with real ‘people’ skills. This position reports to the Area Manager.

The following criteria are essential for this role:

• Flexible and able to work at weekends, early mornings and/or evenings
• At least 6 month’s experience within a management role, preferably retail
• Proven track record within a sales-driven retail environment
• Strong customer service skills
• Committed and hard working
