Job opportunity for an experienced public practice candidate to join a friendly yet progressive independent firm of chartered accountants in the North Leeds area.

Working closely alongside the Partners you will be a self-motivated, ambitious individual able to undertake an all-round role to include the following:

- Preparation of statutory accounts

- Audit work

- CT, sole trader and partnership tax computations

- Company secretarial work

- Management accounts production

- Preparation of VAT returns

- Involvement in the development, improvement and implementation of internal procedures and systems

The client base is a combination of small sole traders and sub-contractors to limited companies

Applicants for the role must have a minimum of 3 - 4 years experience within an accountancy practice. Ideally the successful candidate will be proficient in Sage, and experience of Iris or similar accounts software will be an advantage.
