Sales Executive required to join Huddersfield based Telecommunication company.
Intro
ProVu Communications Ltd is one of the leading UK VOIP distributors, selling mainly to the UK VOIP industry a range of class leading VOIP products. ProVu is renowned for excellent technical reputation coupled with highly automated systems of order processing and configuration.
It acts as the back office provider to a number of well known UK retailers,and is now seeking to further extend its UK distribution by developing new channels for its products.
You will be joining a small professional team working to a rapidly expanding market, with VOIP now really starting to replace conventional telephony in the core SME market.
About you
The successful candidate will have a proven record of achieving sales targets. You will be ambitious and hard working with the desire to approach this new role and distribution channel with enthusiasm.
Your duties will include:
• Identifying and prospecting targets for the sale of our Products
• Owning and maintaining a prospect database, ensuring that all opportunities are logged and regularly updated.
• Closing deals and commencing relationships with channel partners.
• Managing and developing relationships with channel partner accounts in order to maximise sales.
• Handling and managing inbound sales leads.
What we are looking for
To succeed in this role you must have the following skill set:
• Proven track record in a sales role. In particular you must demonstrate your capability to develop long term relationships with partners.
• Self motivating and able to work without regular management.
• Strong grammatical and numerical skills.
• Keen interest in the latest Internet news and technology.
Although not essential, skills in any of the following would be beneficial to your application:
• Experience selling telephony or IT products.
• Knowledge of VOIP

In return we offer a good basic salary plus commission against all new revenue you generate, together with the chance to join a rapidly growing company with a fun working environment.
The successful candidate will work mainly from our offices set in a refurbished mill in Huddersfield, close to the M62.
You will be supported by a team who have excellent technical capability, you will get training as required, but the main requirement is that you bring the ability to sell yourself on a long term basis.
Basic Salary £16-20k, plus commission, realistic year 1 total around £28k. Long term promotion prospects are excellent.
