SNO!zone Castleford is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant who will be responsible for providing finance and administrative support to the Finance Manager. The post-holder will be expected to carry out a wide range of financial, organisational and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

• To assist the Finance Manager in dealing with all financial transactions of the Company and with the preparation of management information and year-end accounts.
• Responsible for Purchase ledger function
• Analysing and reconciling company’s debtors including Corporate
• To assist in maintaining a purchasing procedure including accurate checking and recording of supplier documentation including information on taxation and VAT
• Control of petty cash ensuring correct procedures are maintained for controlling legitimate expenditure.
• Issuing invoices for services provided by the Company.
• Processing financial transactions via the accounting system and monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts

The successful candidate will have excellent working practices; planning and organisational skills including IT; practical and meticulous attention to detail; be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a team player who enjoys working in an busy yet fun environment. Part qualified would be an advantage but credit will be given to ‘qualified by experience’.
