ICT NETWORK SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Role

The successful candidate will report to the Network Manager. It is a 37.5 hour standard working week with occasional evening and weekend also occasional travel to the company's Offices. Responsible for assisting with the support and administration of the company's Network.
Duties will include:
-Patch Management
-Checking and monitoring of back up routines
-Carrying out scheduled checks on server and network services
-Checking network service log files
-Checking virus pattern updates
-Documenting system and application configurations
-Updating asset information to the COMPANY'S asset management tool
-Updating support call information

Key Competencies

Skills

-Active Directory/ Windows Server OS/ Exchange
-Virus Software/ Symantec Backup Exec
-Good analytical and problem solving

Qualifications

-A Levels + MCP – Training Provided
Personal Qualities:
-Keen interest in IT technology
-Ability to work under pressure
-Ability to deliver multiple tasks work to specific deadlines
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Excellent inter personal skills are essential to ensure effective and efficient service delivery

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
