13" Apple Macbook White

I am selling my trusty 13" White Macbook in order to put the money towards a Macbook Pro. This machine has served me well over the past couple of years and it will be a shame to let it go, but needs must!

Note: This Macbook is in need of a new battery (as of last week). The machine works fine on power (I am typing on it right now) and a new battery will cost around £30-40 from an eBay shop (usually with a 12 month warranty). The price of a new battery has been deducted from the listed price, meaning that you are effectively getting a brand new battery for free! I would replace the battery myself, but I feel that the new owner should have the warranty on the battery. Apart from this, the computer works as if it were bought yesterday.

- 2Ghz Intel Dual Core Processor (4MB L2 Cache)
- 1GB DDR2 SDRAM
- 80GB Hard Disk Drive
- Matshita CD-RW (Reads DVDs, writes CDs)
- Intel GMA X3100 Graphics Chipset
- OS X Leopard and iLife (original disks included)
- All manuals, etc.
- MagSafe Power Adapter
- 2x USB Port
- Firewire 400 Port

I am also including the following accessories (worth £35) for free:

- Apple Remote
- Mini-DVI to VGA adapter (for connections to external monitors).

Upon sale, I will have the machine fully reformatted and ready to pop in the install disks as if it were a new computer.

A couple more notes:

- On the keyboard fascia, there is a small crack in the bottom right corner. This is FREE to replace (at any Apple Service Provider), as it is a known fault. I will have it replaced prior to sale if you wish, though this may delay the sale, so it may be easier to replace at your own convenience.

- The machine was actually refurbished when I got it, meaning it was a computer that was returned to Apple, repaired, thoroughly tested and resold. This is not a handicap, however, as refurbs actually undergo MORE strenuous quality testing than new machines.

- The Macbook has a NEW Airport WiFi card, recently replaced by Apple.

As a computer science student, I am careful to keep all of my computers in the best condition possible, so you can be confident that you are buying a computer free of defects.
