I am a Chinese postgraduate from Leeds University and have just completed my MA in Translation Studies. I come from a city in North-east China where people speak beautiful and ‘standard’ Mandarin, the equivalent of your ‘Oxford’ English.

I have extensive experience of teaching Chinese to English native speakers and enjoy teaching people who have an interest in Chinese language and culture.

Chinese is not as difficult as you might think! Most of my students started as absolute beginners but after only a few months many are now very competent with Chinese conversation.
