Our Client is looking for a Principal Transport Planner. You will play a high-profile role in the expanding Transport Planning team here in Leeds.

Leading your own team of transport planners, you will advise clients from both the public and private sector on the transport dimension of new developments. From initial feasibility studies to final negotiations, applicants will provide expert advice and guidance. They will also want you to nurture and develop the skills of your team. An experienced transport planner, candidates must have an excellent track record in the field already. You will know how to advise on site master plans and highway access arrangements – as well as how to seek council approval for new developments. Ideally equipped with chartered status, applicants should also have a strong command over current industry standard software. When it comes to highways access, planning conditions and S106, you must be an expert negotiator. Last but not least, candidates will also have the communication and interpersonal skills needed to successfully lead others.
