Photographer, looking to extend his portfolio with some informal portraits, offers free photograph to anybody willing to have their picture taken.

I’m NOT looking for supermodels. (Although that needn’t stop them from volunteering.) Just normal people who wouldn’t mind having their picture taken by a reasonably competent photographer with an above average camera. Anybody, man or woman, as long as they’re 18 or over, is welcome to get in touch. Couples and small groups are fine too.

I use daylight only (plus, occasionally, a single flash gun) so there’s no complicated lighting set-up to worry about, and absolutely no formality.

HOW IT WORKS: We meet in a public place – unless you’re happy to meet at your place, in which case that’s fine too – and I take your photograph. It’s that simple.

If you have a friend, and want to bring them along, that’s fine, even if your friend doesn’t want their picture taken.

Afterwards I’ll email you a selection of the pictures and you choose which one you’d like me to get printed. When I’ve got the print (size 10x8, it usually takes a couple of days, no more) I can either post it to you, or we can meet up again and I can hand it over.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR US:
I get more experience in taking portraits and a nice pic that I could include on my forthcoming website to showcase my work.

YOU get a nice print, suitable for framing, plus a copy of the jpeg files which you could use to make any other copies you wanted. (Please note: I’m not trying to sell anything so I most definitely won’t be pestering you to pay for further copies, enlargements etc).
