Ideal candidates for the musical will be aged between 16 and 32, and will have a keen interest in theatre, and the acting industry. You must be hard working, reliable, and trust worthy.

The musical is called 'Maddlie in love', and will be touring a range of theatres, including the Alhambra theatre in Bradford, as well as many other major theatres in and around West Yorkshire in July 2010. To ensure that we hit this deadline, it is vital that we get casting complete as soon as possible. Therefore the deadline for this will be when all the positions have been filled.

The musical itself is about a tragic tale of love that could never be. It's a comedy piece, whilst at the same time, it shows the audience what lengths people go to, just to be with the one they love. Although offensive, the musical has been written to open the minds of the audience, and make them think outside the box. And the actors will need to reflect this in their performance. If selected, you will need to experiment with a variety of theatre practitioners teachings, to achieve your characters personality, including Artaud, Brecht, Stannislavsky, and Brook.
