The Company
Having recently been successful in tendering for a £70M contract this leading M&E Contractor, with a turnover of £100M pa requires an experienced Electrical Projects Manager to manage various Building Services projects throughout the West Yorkshire region.
The Role
You will report directly to the Division / Department Manager taking the various contracts, profitability, from the order acceptance stage to submission and agreement completion and final accounts. Conduct and attend meetings in a correct manner on behalf of the company
Cost work for the customer in a profitable manner
Effectively handle customer complaints and enquiries
Prepare estimates for the customer
Provide drawings as requested Monitor and control one or more contracts
Monitor and control plant, materials and equipment in an economic manner
Manage one or more teams of electrical installation and supervisory staff
Plan and monitor production schedules Produce operational and maintenance manuals
Prepare and present final accounts Build and maintain a team of electricians and supervisory staff. Assess material requirements for contracts
Order materials
Arrange delivery of materials
The Person
Ability to perform tasks as outlined.
Good delegation skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Work to current British and ISO Standards, specifications
Codes of Practice relating to the electrical installation work.
Obtained City and Guilds Electrical Installation Work Part II.
Several years experience of industrial electrical installation work subsequent to training.
Supervisory experience.
Working knowledge of the current IEE Regulations, Electricity Supply Regulations, Electricity at Work Act and Health and Safety at Work Act.
Experience of effective customer care procedures.
