Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an organisation offering a busy and varied position.
The role will involve;-
- Being responsible for all the Purchase Ledger within the company processing approximately 1,500 invoices per month
- Once authorised by the Managers then authorise the invoices ready for payment by BACS and by cheque
- Generate a 2 weekly payment run for all subcontractors and a monthly payment run for suppliers.
- Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis to ensure they have received all payments we have made
- Dealing with invoice queries and matching credit notes
- Enter all outgoing payments by cheque, BACS and direct debit onto the cashbook, and input direct debits payments onto the correct accounts and allocate against the correct invoices.
- Responsible for an accounting report on unauthorised invoices on a monthly basis.
- Use office, outlook and excel computer programmes.
